The use of Instagram as media to improve student's writing achievement in Descriptive texts

This research aimed to find out whether or not there is any significant improvement in students’ writing descriptive text after using Instagram and which aspect of improves the most they are taught by Instagram. The sample were 26 students, population class VIII at SMPN. was quantitative. One group pre-test post-test designs used this research. instruments test. collected data analyzed statistically through a Paired Samples T-test. result showed that mean score pre-tests 55.77 70.12. results t-value (15.179) higher than t-table (2.0595) value two-tailed significance 0.000 < 0.05.
